Out of all the culturally diverse, emotional, dramatic, strange Black films that we have watched this semester, my favorite was Moonlight and my least favorite was the original Birth of a Nation. Moonlight was an extremely powerful and eye opening movie. Before having the chance to watch this movie I just kept hearing about it and when it won won Best Picture, I still wasn’t very sure of what to expect from the film. But after watching and internalizing it, I realized that this film was extremely deserving of the honor. I thought that because of their close relationship his death should’ve been explained and Chiron ’s mourning should’ve been explored because the death of a father figure would impact anyone, but especially someone who is struggling to find themselves. I enjoyed the second Chiron the most because, it represents the most life changing moment in this young man’s life as he has his first sexual experience as a gay man. You also see him lose everything and have to start all over again which leads into the third Chiron. When the third Chiron was presented, I initially thought that the third chapter wasn’t going to be as moving to me because I felt he was a coward hiding and trying to be a hard gangster. As the third Chiron progressed you see that this is the final stage in his development. He is a person who is learning to forgive, rekindling old connections and accepting his sexuality as reality. This movie was my favorite film this semester, because it was a true definition of a coming of age and even the viewer couldn’t relate it to their persona l circumstance, they could relate in some way. I feel that Moonlight is a must see film, especially for those who are homophobic or judgemental, and even for those who feel they aren’t because it is truly eye opening to another perspective. The revision of the strategies is to ensure that despite the changes, the producers are still able to retain their market share or if better, improve it. According to Russ Klein, the chief executive officer at American Markets Association, he highlights that the digital transformation in the contemporary marketing world has become a problem, more than it is of benefit (Jaworski et al. 2016, n.d). Digital transformation has contributed much in more in adding to managerial problems due to the narrow perception in handling the transformation. As time goes by, it is not only the marketing strategies that shift but also the manner in which the various businesses handle their issues. Communication methods, internal crowd-source innovation, among others keep changing hence marketing must also conform to the strategies employed by the business in handling its businesses (Jaworski et al. 2016, n.d). Within the same scope, one should also realize that the business models shift with regard to digitization hence marketing of products might not be as simple as it was in the past. When considering the strategic marketing plan, the company must take into consideration various aspects of the market to ensure that the plan is suitable to counter the competition in play. Previously, planning was based on the positioning statements, proper branding, and the 4 Ps which are currently being ignored by many due to the introduction of methods such as content marketing, marketing automation, SEM, among others (McDuffee 2014, n.d). The introduction of these methods, particularly social media marketing, has caused a number of people to ignore the basics of marketing, hence drawing plans that might influence negatively on the future. Working without a strategic plan is compared to engaging in the construction of a building without a blueprint and as a result a business may not achieve much (McDuffee 2014, n.d). Every proper strategy should ensure that the business model, objectives, and brands are taken into consideration to pave way for better structured marketing strategi es. Currently, businesses are more focused into rushing to social media platforms to make known what they deal in (McDuffee 2014, n.d). such actions make their businesses appear as having become a campaign with no strong basis. In spite of the modern marketing strategies that are in place, the basics of conducting business have not changed. People engage in the exchange of goods and services, just as before, and as a result the old methods, now termed as obsolete, are still applicable. The improvement in the level of technology in use in conducting businesses has led to the digitalization of every procedure including marketing. In particular, the use of social media platforms is currently a marketing trend that has taken the business industry by storm, yet might not be as productive if other forms of marketing are not jointly involved. Depression Method

There are many ways a researcher could study depression using the descriptive method. The researcher can start with case study; studying e an individual’s who has been diagnosed with a depression disorder. This way they could learn new things through this person’s actions. Moving on to the naturalistic observation to study a group of people with the same disorder. This study would be at natural as they could possibly make it. This would show them the different affect of depression on individuals.The correlation method can be used to study depression and exercise by studding people with depression who exercise and individuals who do not exercise. This will allow them to see the effect of exercise on depression. If I were to conduct an experiment that was to show the effect of exercise on individuals with a depression disorder I would use a group of 50 people with depression who never exercise. I would have half of them continue their daily routine.The other half would ma ke the other half exercise on the regular for at least 30 minutes a day five times a week. I would keep chart showing the change in the experimental group which are the individuals who are exercising. I would keep a separate chart on my control group which is the ones who have made no change. My dependent variable would be the change in depression and my independent variable would be the individuals exercise. The best way to determine causality is threw experiments. Experiments allow you to see the effects.

Culture is very important to the state in Asia because most of the activities of the people in the region are deeply rooted in the cultural beliefs they hold. Indeed, most of the interactions that take place in the region especially the rising economy of China and the North Korea Nuclear program are deeply entrenched in the fabric of culture. This permeates both the local and international deals most of these countries have. Culture is the way of life of a group of people. This includes their behavior, their beliefs, societal norms and foundational tenets.It includes customs, lifestyles specificities, eating habits, party organization, religion, community activity and everything that forms part of interactive activities of people in a particular geographical location. Culture is specific to a group of people and varies from place to place. I can be adjusted or modified for the benefit of better erupting behavioral patterns or community development. The current situation in Asia is ma rked by wars and conflicts in the Middle East, terrorism in some parts of same location, increased and perpetual religious autocracy.In the same place, countries like Japan and China are improving the technological facilities while the Koreans are busy maintaining ‘peace’. In all the circumstances that surround the state of Asia, one realizes that culture has a major part; indeed it forms the only fulcrum upon which all acts are carried. The culture in China supports communism and individual multinational companies are only allowed to work or operate in this nation if they are ready to abide by existing rules and regulations of the country. The religious affiliation of people of this country also allows them to work effectively in the team, and even cater for the elderly.Every one is working for the good of the ‘colony’; and as such respected for that service. These factors have been responsible for the economic prowess of this emerging superpower. Another nation is United Arab Emirates. This is dominated by the ‘skeihic’ rulership method wherein there is no election,. It is deeply rooted in Islamic tenets, and most of the policies of the government of these emirates are governed by the content of the Holy Quran. One even realizes that there is segregation in work based on cultural beliefs directly linked to customary religion.One of the Emirates, Dubai, is a growing economy because of the accommodative approach to government and globalization it encourages. In the midst of this, contemporary culture little affected by Westernization is affected by this. As part of the culture of this people is the respect for the rule for the elders, responsibilities to the state and resistance to intrusion to cultural sanity. These factors form a bulk of the impetus for the current state of art and acts within Asia. This drives home the point that culture in intrinsic to events within Asia.
